As a Como supporter i can tell you that in italy there is too much bureaucracy. For example when the society decided to add more 1000 seats in curva como, it took like 5 or 6 month only to have the documentation necessary. In Italy it is practically impossible to fix a stadium in such a short time before the start of the 24/25 championship. The only viable solution is to play temporarily in a nearby stadium (i.e.: Monza). Meanwhile, the new ownership is expected to accelerate to build a new one.

Wednesday supporter here. I love Hillsborough even though it is old school. Archibald Leitch designed our original South Stand when it was still at Olive Grove. When we were granted Hillsborough, the stand was dismantled and rebuilt on its new location. Since has been revamped but keeping the original detail. Grateful the Kop was covered, shame about the supports. Spent many Saturdays freezing to death in the snow and rain on it. North stand still lovely if you are a small person. I'm female, 170 cm, have to mansplain. How most men manage, idk. If Wednesday ever have the cash, please sort out the West Stand. So not great for away fans. We have lost the north west corner. Why? Still love Hillsborough. I have happy, and some less than happy memories. There is sadness, 1989. This must be honoured. We're all Wednesday, aren't we!

We both are always very close in terms of member numbers, and we both only update them every 3-6 months or so but not at the same time. So when schalke updates theirs, they are ahead, and when we update ours, we are ahead. Additional context is also that their membership is far cheaper than ours

A few facts: It took nearly twenty years after the stadium was abandoned that it was renewed. However the first game was cancelled due to Covid, while the club had massive financial problems which also led to the relegation. So while the club struggled to pay any bills. The Ultras managed to raise some money through scarf sales and paid for the renovation of the last remaining floodlight tower who officialy openned in January 2023 in a training session with just 9 points in the Bundesliga. After this schalke only lost 5 games in the back half of the season but sadly didn't manage to hold the class. But every evening this beautiful old tower lights up the Berger Feld (this is what the whole area with Stadion, Arena, training pitches, etc. is called)
